2. The worst is when you meet somebody, and explain what you do, and they go, “Blogging? Oh, right. I’ve, uh, read some of those.”

And you totally know that they’ve pigeonholed you based on their first impressions of a 15-year-old’s LiveJournal.

All I can say is I wish I’d been there! Penny’s comment was uber funny and may have been prophetic. I would not be surprised that a 10 year old was blogging circles around me.

@Bdot – I disagree. IMO, the “Can you type? Then you can blog” line is the quote of the month! And I think it’s true. Just like if you have a football, you can play football – or anything else of the sort. Does it mean everyone can do it professionally or as well as everyone else? Of course not. Plus, I think we can all easily assume that Penny wasn’t putting down professional bloggers.
